Electricity accounts for 2/3 of global emissions. Reel is rethinking electricity procurement to accelerate the renewable energy transition and reduce emissions.

The impact you will make
As our new (Senior) Finance Manager, you will be directly working with Reel’s senior management. Your main responsibilities are to build up Reel’s financial structure (accounting, cash flow management, etc.) from scratch, aiming towards a fully automated best-in-class setup. You help Reel always having an overview of its financial situation.
What You Will Work On
Monitor and evaluate financial performance, analyzing data to discern trends, identify risks, and uncover opportunities for growth and improvement.
Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategy with overall company goals, offering insights and financial analysis to guide strategic planning and execution.
Take full ownership of the company's cash flow and collateral management, ensuring optimal liquidity for Reel’s operations, including balancing the company’s risk management.
Establish and maintain a comprehensive accounting set-up & processes.
Develop a detailed financial forecast model to monitor expected cash flow positions, liquidity, P&L, etc.
Automate financial processes and structures to maintain a lean and efficient setup, reducing manual intervention.
Support management in negotiating and structuring loans and credit lines with banks and other financial institutions, optimizing terms and conditions.
Prepare and own financial reporting to investors and other stakeholders.
You are enthusiastic about having a real impact on climate change, a passion for technology and making a difference. You love crunching numbers and have a strong interest in mastering complex financial structures.
In addition, you will have some (not necessarily all) of the following traits:
2-6 years of professional experience within financial management, you could come from management consulting, private equity, investment banking, finance departments in startups or corporates or similar.
Demonstrated proficiency in accounting and controlling practices, with a strong understanding of balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow management.
Ability to independently design and implement in-house setups and processes from scratch without the need for hands-on support from other team members.
Exceptional capabilities with Excel and extensive experience in complex financial modeling, capable of handling intricate financial analyses and projections.
Outgoing personality with strong communication skills, willing and able to engage with banks, financial institutions, and other external partners to structure deals, loans, credit lines, etc.
Proactive and hands-on mindset, demonstrating a practical and results-oriented approach.
