How You Can Contribute

The Impact You Will Make

As our new Content & Communications Manager, you will play a key role in shaping Reel's voice. Working closely with Reel’s senior management, you will be responsible for Reel’s marketing & communications strategy. You will create compelling content (mainly written) that resonates with our audience and drives engagement. You will help ensure Reel’s innovative approach to electricity procurement is effectively communicated to the public.

What You Will Work On

Lead the development and execution of our marketing & communications strategy, positioning Reel as a thought leader in the space.
Develop strong written materials across our communication channels, including blog posts, website copy, and distinct LinkedIn content.
Lead and manage our PR efforts, including drafting press releases, managing media inquiries, and fostering relationships with media outlets to enhance Reel's public image.
Collaborate with the branding & design team to ensure that all content is consistent with our brand identity and supports our overall marketing strategy.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitors, using insights to inform content strategy and ensure we remain at the forefront of rethinking electricity procurement.

How You Can Thrive In This Role

You are passionate about storytelling and the power of content to create engagement. With a keen interest in renewable energy and sustainability, you are motivated to use your skills to contribute to a cleaner, greener future.

In addition, you will have some (not necessarily all) of the following traits:

Exceptional writing and content creation skills in both Danish (required) and English, with a proven ability to craft engaging and persuasive content.
A track record of successfully driving engagement and conversion through content on LinkedIn and/or other digital channels.
Strong research skills and an ability to simplify complex scientific topics into accessible content for a general audience.
Ability to manage PR efforts, including crafting press releases and managing media relations, to build and maintain Reel's public image.
Experience in or knowledge of the renewable energy sector, PPAs, or related fields is a plus, which will allow you to effectively communicate Reel’s mission and impact.
Experience with SEO optimization is a plus, ensuring high organic rankings.
